Community Base is a charity providing a home for community and voluntary groups in Brighton and Hove and services to the local community. We use income from our services, including the provision of office space and the use of our South Wing meeting rooms, to repay a mortgage on our accessible seven floor building a few minutes from Brighton station and meet our running costs.
Real help for real people
The friendly, supportive environment provided by Community Base helps a wide range of charities and community groups work together, share their expertise and provide much needed services to the local community and beyond. Thousands of people get real help from groups at Community Base every year.
A multicultural community
Community Base is a truly multicultural community centre, providing a home to groups offering help to local black and minority ethnic communities alongside groups providing services to the wider community. Groups at Community Base provide help and support to a wide range of communities locally, throughout the UK and abroad.
